LIST: These local brands are selling merch to protest corruption
As investigations into the flood control mess continue, several local brands have launched various merch for continued protests against corruption.
From bold graphic tees to "burn corruption" candles, these limited-edition items are here to help you express your frustration and demand accountability from people who were involved in anomalous government projects. You can even wear some as you take part in the upcoming protest being organized by the same team behind the Trillion Peso March.
Below are some anti-corruption merch you can find online.
'Not a nepo baby' socks

IDENTITY Apparel Shop dropped a pair of socks with the message "NOT A NEPO BABY" stitched onto them, a not-so-subtle clapback at children of politicians and major contractors who are drawing flak for flaunting their frequent travels and lavish lifestyles on social media.
"Let's be honest—we're all out here judging nepo babies on our timelines... while secretly wishing we had their trust funds," the shop said.
You can purchase the limited-edition socks through their website for P300.
'Matakot na ang mga kurakot' shirt

Taking direct aim at those in power, Linya-Linya's shirt boldly declares "Matakot na ang mga kurakot" to corrupt officials.
"Patapos na ang maliligayang araw ng mga gahama at buwaya," the local brand said in their product's description.
"Heto na ang shirt na sasamahan kang manindigan sa tama at mangalampag para managot ang mga magnanakaw ng kaban ng bayan. Kapit at magpatuloy lang. Unti-unti na nating nabibisto ang mga kurakot," it added.
The shirt, made with 60% cotton and 40% polyester, is available on its website for P650.
'Stop flooding us with corruption' hat

What we want is for the involved officials to "Stop flooding us with corruption"—and this hat says it loud and clear.
Betchay 168 has stitched this powerful message on its adjustable trucker net cap that's perfect for keeping your head cool while you're out protesting in the streets.
The item is available on its Shopee page for P123.
'It's more funds in the Philippines' tote bag

Putting a spin on the Philippines' iconic tourism slogan, Aniya Clothing has released a tote bag with the message "It’s more funds in the Philippines."
The minimalist design lets the message speak for itself, completing your outfit for the next anti-corruption rally.
The bag is available on the brand's Shopee page for P171.
'Candles of Protest'

If you want to protest from home, you can light up the so-called "Candles of Protest" by The Good Wick.
The candle shop is offering two versions. One is the "Burn Corruption: A Trillion Peso Protest Candle," which took inspiration from the Trillion Peso March that took place last Sept. 21.
"Light this candle with intention and courage. As the flame rises, place your hand over your heart and speak: 'Burn away corruption. I call in truth, justice, and protection. May courage rise, and greed fall,'" the shop said in the product's description.
The candle is scented with warm vanilla and grounding sandalwood and carries the power of crystals—Obsidian to shield against corruption, Hematite to sharpen awareness, and Red Jasper to stir courage.
The second candle is dubbed the "Flame of Accountability" made for "those who refuse to stay silent."
"This candle isn’t just to rage—it’s for people who want to shine light on lies, speak truth to power, and stay awake in a system designed to exhaust them," the shop detailed.
The candle is infused with ethically sourced crystals such as Lapis Lazuli, Citrine, and Selenite, and scented with grounding sage and fire-spiced clove.
Both products are available on The Good Wick's Shopee page for P675 each.
