What has the old-school spirit of an analog camera in the body of a keychain-sized digital camera? That would be the Kodak Charmera, a 30g small wonder that fits inside your palm and clips onto your bag, ready to take instant snaps.

Released in October 2025, these tiny digital cameras are inspired by the disposable Kodak Fling from the '80s. Harping on nostalgia while keeping up with the times, the Charmera is sold in blind boxes with six “regular” designs and one “secret” edition—so the element of surprise adds to the fun of unboxing.

The Kodak Charmera features a 1.6MP ¼-inch CMOS sensor and a fixed 35mm f/2.4 lens, capable of capturing still images at a resolution of 1440x1080 and video at 30 frames per second. Of course, it isn't the same as shooting on a higher-end smartphone, but that doesn't stop it from selling out every batch that's released (as of press time, the blind boxes are already on the fourth round of pre-orders according to the website).

If you’re lucky enough to get your hands on one, use the Charmera in photo mode and discover the customized Kodak frames, vintage filters, and date stamps that add to its authentic retro feel. Best of all, it charges and transfers files via a USB-C cable for easy use, allowing you to snap and share memories on the go.
