Internationally renowned chef Gordon Ramsay delighted Filipinos when he announced, during his Manila visit, that he was opening three more restaurants in the Philippines, marking the further expansion of the celebrity chef’s empire in the country after his first foray, Gordon Ramsay Bar and Grill, opened in 2024. In Cebu, Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips and Street Burger opened in The Mactan Newtown, a central business district in Lapu-Lapu City.

Entering GR Fish & Chips will transport you to a seaside town in the UK, as its interiors feature sailing motifs and big windows that let the sunlight in. On the menu are the classic fried fish, as well as chicken and shrimp dishes that pair well with a side of fries that you can have plain or dressed in sauces.

Meanwhile, Street Burger evokes an urban vibe with its graffiti paintings and darker interiors. You can test how well you handle spices as dishes like Hell’s Kitchen and Next Level burgers are smothered in jalapeño salsa and Sriracha sauces. Other fare includes chicken wings, which come “hotter than hell.” And if spice isn’t your thing, burgers like Gordon’s Fried Chicken and Lechon are options.

Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips and Street Burger are located at The Mactan Newtown, Newtown Blvd., Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. GR Fish & Chips is open daily for lunch from 12 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and for dinner from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., while Street Burger is open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
