Before One RFID, motorists needed multiple RFID accounts to travel on different tollways: Entering Skyway required an Autosweep card, while the North Luzon Expressway asked for Easytrip. At times, this caused unnecessary delays and stress as drivers had to ensure they had enough balance on all accounts to be able to cross the toll gates before hitting the asphalt. Road trips to popular destinations like Baguio, Tagaytay, La Union, Zambales, and more were made more convenient when One RFID was rolled out.
Signing up for One RFID can be done for free and virtually anywhere, as you just need to opt-in online. You’ll only need to get in your car to have the unchosen RFID sticker removed at authorized customer service stations. With the single sticker, there’s no need to have multiple tags installed on your car and manage or top up separate Autosweep and Easytrip accounts before trips. Motorists also enjoy seamless entry and exit at toll gates as they don’t need to check if they’re in the right RFID lane.
Currently, the One RFID system is only available at all Luzon expressways. This makes planning that drive to enjoy the cool Sagada weather or enjoy the culinary scene in Pampanga a bit easier.
