Philippine Airlines moves all turboprop flights from Manila to Clark

Published Feb 02, 2026 7:30 pm

Philippine Airlines is moving all of its turboprop flights currently operating to and from Manila to Clark International Airport.

The country's flag carrier announced in an advisory that the transfer will be effective on March 29, 2026. Existing bookings for PAL turboprop flights will be rerouted to the airline's alternative hubs in Cebu, Clark, and Iloilo.

PAL said this is in line with the timelines set under the Manila Slot Coordination Council Committee's Resolution 2025-02. In December 2024, the MSCC ordered the transfer of turboprops from NAIA to other airports to ease congestion and maximize air traffic at the Manila airport. Originally, the move was set for October 2025, but this was later delayed to March 2026

Those whose flights are affected will receive updated itineraries and can choose to rebook, convert to travel credits, reroute, or refund.

Here's how the flights will be rerouted:

  • Manila-Busuanga (Coron)-Manila to Clark-Busuanga (Coron)-Clark
  • Manila-Siargao-Manila to Clark-Siargao-Clark
  • Manila-Antique-Manila to Manila-Iloilo-Manila
  • Manila-Catarman-Manila to Cebu-Catarman-Cebu

With the flight transfers, PAL will expand weekly services starting March 2026 for the following flights:

  • Manila to Cebu - up to 76 flights weekly
  • Manila to Dumaguete - up to 21 flights weekly
  • Manila to Iloilo - up to 42 flights weekly
  • Manila to Roxas - up to 14 flights weekly
  • Manila to Tacloban - up to 28 flights weekly

Cebu Pacific earlier announced that its Cebgo and AirSWIFT turboprop flights would also be moving to Clark in March.
