Katy Perry goes Instagram official with Justin Trudeau
Katy Perry has gone Instagram official with her rumored boyfriend, former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
On her page, the singer-songwriter appeared to hard-launch her relationship with Trudeau as she posted pictures of their trip in Japan together.
In one image, the two of them were seen posing cheek to cheek for a selfie. Perry also included a video of them eating together and watching what appeared to be an interactive art exhibit.
"Tokyo times on tour and more," Perry wrote in the caption.
In the comments section, many fans expressed their excitement and gushed over how happy the pair looked together.
"I just know that Justin is the new minister of her heart, and we are so happy for that!" one user said.
Another commented, "You look so adorable and I hope everything goes well for you guys."
Perry and Trudeau previously made their first public appearance together when they were seen holding hands as they exited a theater from a cabaret show in Paris, France.
The two first sparked dating rumors in late July, one month after Perry and her ex Orlando Bloom confirmed their split. They were in an on-and-off relationship for nine years.
Citing the former couple's representative, PEOPLE reported that they agreed on a co-parenting setup for their four-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove.
Perry and Bloom began dating in 2016. They broke up a year later and rekindled their romance in 2018. They got engaged the following year.
Trudeau and his wife Sophie Grégoire, a former Canadian television host, called it quits in 2023 after 18 years of marriage. They have three children: Xavier, 17, Ella-Grace, 16, and Hadrien, 11.
