Katy Perry, Justin Trudeau spotted kissing on a yacht off California coast

American pop star Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau were photographed engaging in public displays of affection aboard a yacht near Santa Barbara, California, on Oct. 12.

Photos published by different international outlets show the 40-year-old singer and the 53-year-old former politician cuddling and riding waves together.

Trudeau, who was shirtless and wearing long pants, was photographed holding the backside of Perry, who was wearing a black swimsuit.

The sighting confirms ongoing relationship rumors that began in July, when the pair was first seen together walking a dog and dining at Le Violon restaurant during Perry's Lifetimes Tour stop in Montreal, Canada. Two days later, Trudeau attended Perry's concert at Montreal's Bell Centre.

Perry announced in June that she had split from actor Orlando Bloom after a nine-year relationship, which included six years of engagement. They now co-parent their 5-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom.

Meanwhile, Trudeau and his ex-wife Sophie Grégoire called it quits in 2023 after 18 years of marriage. They have three children: Xavier, 17, Ella-Grace, 16, and Hadrien, 11.
