Kris Aquino hopes to do sit-down interviews once a week with 'interesting' people
Kris Aquino gave another update on her health as she expressed interest in returning to be a talk show host on a regular basis.
On Feb. 1, the Queen of All Media shared that while she is still in the hospital, she is hopeful that she will be discharged the following day.
"I feel like I’m still me, but I know myself better, i’ve learned which moments to treasure and that love and friendship need to be reciprocal if you want them to last. Walang perfect na relationship, but if you are willing to live with and learn to laugh at each other’s quirks, then you have a chance to go the distance," she began in her caption on Instagram.
"And remember to fight fair, nobody should play the victim not if you truly love one another. Nobody is ever too busy to carve out a 10 minute text exchange or a five minute call to check on each other," she added.
Kris went on to ask her followers if they could share information on any indoor swimming pools in any physical rehabilitation centers or hotels that offer health club memberships. She is also looking for condominium units or homes for lease in Makati, Taguig, Mandaluyong, San Juan, or Pasig that have a big patio and garden umbrellas.
"This is my life’s new reality. But in order for me to continue being brave, I need to do slowly what I love until I am stronger. My goal is once a week sit down interviews with people who for me are interesting and with God’s blessing, weekly enjoyable treatment of products I really use," she said.
"There’s a team doing my hair and makeup, I have a skeleton crew, a two-camera setup shooting me and the closeups of the others as well as product shots and I’m excited to start sharing new home cooking recipes made simpler with all of you. Happy viewing," she added.
The multimedia personality previously shared that she misses doing interviews as she teased a possible video podcast of her own.
"With the correct safety protocols, pwede akong mag-taped as live video podcast," she said. "I miss doing interviews! Will you watch and subscribe? Like this post if you want my podcast to start soon with a partial home tour?"
Kris is currently undergoing treatment for her autoimmune diseases including fibromyalgia (causing widespread pain), polymyositis (causing muscle weakness), and mixed connective tissue disease (a combination of lupus, scleroderma, and polymyositis). She received treatment in the United States from June 2022 to September 2024 before returning to the Philippines.
Prior to her hiatus from showbiz, she previously did a number of talk shows, such as The Buzz, Good Morning, Kris, Kris TV, and more.
