MySSS ID debit card MySSS ID debit card

The MySSS Card is the latest innovation from the Social Security System, designed to ease SSS transactions for members. Replacing the older UMID card, this upgraded ID doubles as a debit card that can be linked to a savings account from one of SSS’s partner banks, allowing you to access benefits, loans, and pensions quickly and conveniently. With this, you’ll be able to use it for everyday transactions such as shopping, online payments, and ATM withdrawals, making it a functional part of your financial life.

To keep your money and identity secure, the card is equipped with an EMV chip and integrated with the PhilSys eVerify system. This ensures strong protection through biometric and digital verification and reduces the risks of fraud. The application process is done through the My.SSS portal, where members can open an account digitally with a partner bank (RCBC for now). Once approved, cards are delivered within 15 working days for Metro Manila residents and about 20 days for those outside the region. All in all, the MySSS Card is a promising step toward a more seamless and secure experience for members.

The Social Security System is located at the SSS Building, East Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines. For inquiries, you may contact the SSS Hotline at 1455 or email usssaptayo@sss.gov.ph.
