Miss Grand International postpones All Stars competition
Miss Grand International has delayed its first-ever All Stars competition.
According to the organizer, the event—which invites beauty queens from any pageant to join—was originally scheduled to take place from Jan. 25 to Feb. 13, 2026 in Thailand.
"This decision has been made because the event coincides with the extended New Year holiday period, which may cause delays in visa processing for participants from several countries," MGI said in an announcement.
It added that contestants who have already been officially announced will remain eligible and confirmed to participate in the upcoming competition.
Previously announced contestants include Yuki Oyama from Japan, Sanjana Sekharmantri from India, Thet San Andersen from Myanmar, Alexia Nuñez from the Philippines, Qatrisha Zairyah from Singapore, Fuschia Anne Ravena from the Philippines, Melisha Lin from Malaysia, Tharina Botes from Thailand,
Meanwhile, registration for new contestants is still open. The competition is open for cis and trans women aged 20 to 40, single, married, or with children. It's also accepting anyone who has competed in any international beauty pageant, whether they won or not.
MGI has yet to reveal more details about the All Stars edition, but Filipino pageant fans have playfully speculated local beauty queens they would like to see join, including Miss Universe 2025 3rd runner-up Ahtisa Manalo, Miss Earth Philippines 2025 Joy Barcoma, and Face of Beauty International 2025 Nikki Buenafe.
The Miss Grand International 2025 pageant concluded on Oct. 18, with Emma Mary Tiglao securing a back-to-back win for the Philippines following the 2024 titleholder, CJ Opiaza.
