‘I love finding everyday surprises at SM Store Makati,’ says a joyful Heart Evangelista

With the world at her fingertips, Heart was delighted to discover everyday surprises in the store that she grew up visiting often with her mother and sister.

“Being back now, seeing how the store has grown with me—it’s really a beautiful feeling,” Heart said during her latest shopping spree at SM Store Makati.

What was not to love? As she strolled through the aisles, Heart picked up beauty essentials, stylish pieces to enhance her OOTDs, and curated home essentials. Her shopping basket held a rich combination of nostalgia and excitement.

Lavish beauty

Heart’s first stop was the beauty section. Showcasing a wide selection of global premium and beloved local brands, SM Beauty at SM Store Makati carries top-tier products that are now more accessible than ever.

She began at the Teviant counter, where Heart stocked up on a crowd favorite: the Starbalm Glow Lux Body Balm. Her first beauty pick was made for the fashionista that she is. It’s designed to illuminate the skin with its natural radiance, providing a luxurious shimmer that instantly completes any of Heart’s Fashion Week looks.

Content with her Teviant stash, Heart shifted her focus to her eyes and lips. She found GRWM, a local beauty brand powerhouse, and picked a few duo-ended eyeliners for her signature cat eye. Then on to Absidy for Lip Glaze serums in Heart’s favorite lip tint shades Cupid, Cherry, and Almond.

Heart completed her beauty supply run at Mugler, where she selected a few bottles of the floral and fruity Angel Elixir.

“I always stock up on my essentials from SM Beauty,” Heart said. “With my job and all the traveling, I keep multiples of my favorites—some in my house, my makeup kit, my travel bag, even in the car—to make sure I always have them on hand.”

Fashion for the icon

Heart, ever the fashionista, was in her element browsing through the SM Fashion racks and shelves at SM Store Makati.

A long-time fan of Parisian, which she loves because of its practicality and stylishness, Heart immediately spotted the perfect pair of heels. The comfortable chunky heels “look so pretty on my feet,” Heart gushed.

She spent most of her time at SM Fashion in the sleepwear section. You may recall the photo that went viral in May featuring Heart in a personalized French fries pajama set. Those pajamas were from SM Store Makati.

“So many netizens wanted to get their own,” Heart said. Why wouldn’t they? Encouraging her fans to explore the wide range of lounge wear at SM Woman and Baleno.

“It’s all about finding pieces that spark joy; things that instantly speak to you,” Heart said. “And I found so many of those here.”

Love for home

As a homemaker and art lover, among her many other pursuits, Heart thoroughly enjoyed looking through SM Home. The smart, stylish kitchen tools and dinnerware offered there gave her glimpses of future dinners she would host in her home.

She fell in love with the Martha Stewart Gracie 12-piece dinnerware set. The exquisite porcelain pieces designed with gold trim would pair beautifully with Heart’s existing tableware at home.

Of course, a home for coffee lovers wouldn’t be complete without a modern coffee maker. Heart just had to get the De’Longhi Rivelia coffee machine, which is a fully automatic model that’s both intuitively functional and stylishly sophisticated.

“I love discovering home pieces that are not just practical but beautiful,” Heart said. “You can truly elevate your everyday life with these.”

Heart brought home more than bags full of beloved items. She also collected moments that evoked rich memories.

There is much to love, especially when you, like Heart, relish the shopping experience.

“Find joy in little things,” Heart said. “Whether it’s lipstick, a dress, or a coffee maker—if it speaks to you, it’s worth having. And I got it at SM Store.”
