Smashing Pumpkins to return to the PH after 13 years

Alternative rock fans, better secure your tickets because this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: Smashing Pumpkins is coming back to the Philippines after 13 long years.

For the first time in years, the original trio of The Smashing Pumpkins—Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlain, and James Iha—will reunite on stage at the Smart Araneta Coliseum this Sept. 29 for their "SMASHING PUMPKINS 'ROCK INVASION 2025' IN MANILA" show.

Produced by PULP Live World, it’s an amazing musical experience that will celebrate both the legacy and relevance of a band that has influenced countless fans and musicians around the world.

Tickets to the show can be purchased via ticketnet.com.ph. The presale is on May 31 at 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. General sales will open on June 1 at 12 p.m. at all Ticketnet outlets.

The ticket prices start at P1,800 and go as high as P8,800 for VIP. Below are the prices:

The band first came to the Philippines in 2012 as part of their global tour and promotion of their album, Oceania, but Corgan was the only original member present.

Smashing Pumpkins is a popular alternative rock band from the 90s with popular songs like I Am One, Today, Disarm, Perfect, and The Everlasting Gaze, to name a few.

They initially called it quits in 2000, signaling a temporary end to the band. They later reunited in 2006, though the lineup has seen changes since their comeback.
