Emma Tiglao dazzles the stage at Miss Grand International 2025 prelims
Emma Tiglao exuded confidence and beauty as she owned the stage during her performance at the 2025 Miss Grand International preliminary competition.
The 30-year-old Filipina beauty queen lit up the stage during the preliminary competition held on Wednesday, Oct. 15, at MGI Hall, Bangkok, Thailand.
During the swimsuit competition, Tiglao showcased her pasarela donning a deep teal one-piece with dark nude heels.
She was also a sight to behold during the evening gown competition, wearing Ryan Ablaza Uson's fiery red bedazzled ensemble with structured shoulder pieces adorned with red and gold fringe beading.
Fans and fellow beauty queens, including Miss Supranational 2023 first runner-up Pauline Amelinckx and Miss Universe Philippines 2025 second runner-up and Miss Earth Air 2023 Yllana Aduana, sent their praises on Miss Grand PH's Instagram post.
"She’s on fiiiiirrreee," Amelinckx commented.
"ANG GALING!!!!!!!" Miss Earth 2017 Karen Ibasco wrote.
"Bigyan ng shampoo commercial to!!" Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados also commented.
During the closed-door interview, Tiglao said she deserves the crown because she has the "heart to serve" and the experience.
"I have the heart to serve. I really work hard because at the early age of 13, I started working to help my family and to finish my studies and I have an action. I help the PDLs, the persons deprived of liberty or the prisoners, who are also part of my journey. What I'm wearing right now is [woven] by the prisoners. This is called solihiya. They're part of my journey, so I have the heart, I have experience and I make an action," she said.
Tiglao and the other 76 candidates will showcase their beauty and wit one last time on the coronation night happening on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. (8 p.m. Philippine time)
Tiglao was crowned the Miss Grand Philippines 2025 in July. She had previously competed in Miss Intercontinental in 2019 as Miss Philippines with a Top 20 finish.
She is vying for a back-to-back win following CJ Opiaza.
