Claudine Barretto and Korina Sanchez’s brother Milano tease new romance
Do we detect a budding romance?
Claudine Barretto and Milano Sanchez piqued the curiosity of social media users when, on Oct. 30, they exchanged sweet messages on social media, leading many to assume the beginning of a relationship between the two.
Sanchez, younger brother of TV host Korina Sanchez-Roxas, began the interaction by posting on Instagram a photo showing Barretto embracing him from behind while resting her chin on his head.
In the caption, he openly declared his pursuit of Barretto, writing, “The courtship starts now. No matter how long it takes, I will wait. No one will ever break you again.”
Later, Barretto posted a similar photo, with Milano covering his face with his hand, and writing a response to Sanchez’s declaration, and tagging him: “Can you really wait? No matter how long? No one will break me? Swear?”
She set her post’s audio to the Gary Valenciano-Kyla duet Can We Just Stop and Talk a While.
While he has stayed mostly out of the public eye, Sanchez is an active board member of the Merville Park Homeowners Association.
Barretto’s family, meanwhile, has been a popular topic in the news recently. A week ago, in an interview on Ogie Diaz’s YouTube channel, her mom Inday claimed that her daughter's ex-husband, Raymart Santiago, physically and emotionally abused Baretto.
In a series of Instagram Stories, Santiago wrote he was surprised that such accusations would come from Inday, who was supposed to know her own daughter and who frequently used to apologize to him on behalf of Baretto.
Santiago concluded his post, saying time would eventually reveal the truth.
Baretto and Santiago got married in 2006, separated in 2013, and are now in the process of annulment.
