Cote d’Ivoire's Olivia Yace joins Miss Cosmo 2025 jury panel
Miss Universe Côte d’Ivoire Olivia Yacé is now a member of the jury panel for this year's Miss Cosmo competition.
The news was announced on the pageant's social media pages. The role comes after Yacé recently represented her country in the Miss Universe 2025 competition, where she finished as fourth runner-up in the finals.
"Stepping onto the Miss Cosmo stage for the very first time, Olivia Yacé brings with her a legacy defined by brilliance, resilience, and the unshakable power of identity," the Miss Cosmo Organization wrote in the caption.
"Hailing from Côte d’Ivoire, Olivia is not only a renowned international model but also a dedicated social advocate whose voice uplifts women across cultures. Rising to global prominence as the 2nd Runner-up at Miss World 2021, and Miss World Africa, she has become an emblem of African pride, celebrated for her striking beauty, confident presence, and commanding runway performance," they continued.
They also highlighted how her work in promoting independence, self-confidence, and the value of womanhood has "inspired millions, making her one of the most influential beauty figures of today."
"This season, she brings her global vision and unwavering authenticity to the Miss Cosmo 2025 Jury Panel, ready to help shape a new chapter-one defined by courage, character, and universal empowerment. As the final member of the Miss Cosmo 2025 International Jury Panel, her presence completes a council where impact goes beyond the crown," the organization stated.
On her Instagram stories, Yacé shared that she is "honored" to be part of the jury panel for the upcoming finals.
With this, she joins former Miss Universe president Paula Shugart and Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu as members of the judging panel.
The beauty queen previously resigned as Miss Universe Africa and Oceania and from any future affiliation with the Miss Universe Committee.
"Throughout my journey as an ambassador and beauty queen, I have served with commitment, resilience, discipline, and determination. However, to fully reach my potential, I must remain firmly anchored in my values guiding principles that pave the way toward excellence," she said in a statement.
Yacé continued to say that she wants to be a role model for young girls to push their limits.
"It is this commitment to being a positive influence that guides my decision today. Stepping away from this diminished role of Miss Universe Africa and Oceania will allow me to dedicate myself fully to defending the values I hold dear," she added.
The Miss Cosmo 2025 coronation night will be held on Dec. 20 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The event will see Indonesia’s Ketut Permata Juliastrid crowning her successor.
The Philippines will be represented by Chelsea Fernandez, who reached the top six at Miss Universe Philippines 2025.
