Kirk Bondad is Mister International 2025
Filipino supermodel, wellness director, and athlete Kirk Bondad won this year's Mister International pageant.
Forty-one buff and fit contenders from around the world competed at the 17th Mister International, which was held at the MCC Hall, The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan, Nonthaburi, Thailand on Sept. 25.
A veteran of male pageants, Bondad succeeded outgoing Mister International Nwajagu Samuel of Nigeria. Mister Lebanon Saadedine Hneineh was named 1st runner-up, while Mister Korea Seung-ho Choi is 2nd runner-up.
As his Top 6 question, Bondad was asked, “In an era of fake news and misinformation, why is critical thinking important for the survival of democracy?”
Bondad replied (published as is), “I think that this topic is a very timely matter because social media is acting as a double-edged sword; it can divide but it can also unite. One thing that is very prevalent now, and that you can see everywhere, is that fake news is spreading. I think critical thinking gives us the ability to see what truly matters because in the end of the day, every step counts. And if we can work together as humanity, we can progress in this world and we can move forward with peace and progress.”
His answer to the Top 3 question was more succinct.
The question was, “If you win Mister International and are invited to speak at the United Nations, what one social or political issue would you choose to highlight and why?”
In reply, Bondad said, “If I were given the honor, I would focus on the children. We need to protect them. I would give them a chance, provide more protection, and cultivate education because today’s children will be tomorrow’s leaders. Ultimately, I believe that if we collectively make the right decisions, even small steps can have a big impact internationally.”
The 27-year-old from Baguio is the second Mister International from the Philippines. Neil Perez won the title in 2014.
Prior to joining the competition, Bondad represented Baguio at the Mister Pilipinas Worldwide 2025 pageant, where he won the Mister Pilipinas International title. Last year, he represented the Philippines at Mister World 2024 in Vietnam, but failed to get past the Top 20. Much earlier, in 2022, Bondad emerged as the grand winner of Century Tuna Superbods, a recurring fitness and wellness competition.
