Miss Jamaica 2025 Dr. Gabrielle Henry is reportedly doing well and nearing discharge following her unfortunate fall from the stage during a preliminary Miss Universe event on Nov. 19.

Raúl Rocha, Miss Universe Organization president, released an update on social media regarding Henry's condition.

"Over the past four days, there have been difficult moments and unexpected concerns. However, thanks to the excellent medical care provided, each issue was successfully resolved. Today, we are pleased to share that the latest medical report confirms that Dr. Gabrielle Henry is in good health and nearing discharge," Rocha said in the statement posted to the Miss Universe official Instagram page.

Henry, 28, an ophthalmologist, was walking across the stage during the pageant's last preliminary round before coronation night when she suddenly fell into the orchestra pit.

She was pulled out on a stretcher and immediately brought to the hospital.

"I personally entered the stage to assist her, coordinated urgent medical attention, and oversaw her immediate transfer to the hospital. I was present at the emergency room alongside her family, with whom I spoke directly," Rocha wrote.

According to Rocha, MUO brought in additional medical specialists and shouldered all expenses related to Henry's hospitalization, including hotel accommodation near the hospital for her mother and sister, rebooked airline tickets, transportation services, and a dedicated staff to assist the family.

Before the good news of Miss Jamaica's improving health, Henry's sister, Dr. Henry-Samuels, said in a statement coursed through Miss Universe Jamaica Organization, the beauty queen had to stay in the Intensive Care Unit for at least seven days following her accident.
