BLACKPINK's Lisa and Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi have captured the hearts of fans worldwide, portraying lovers in the newly released music video for the song Dream.

The 5-minute music video tells the story of a woman who lost her partner. It's a sad but beautiful song that shows moments of happiness mixed with deep longing.

In the video's final moments, Lisa asks Sakaguchi what he wants to be in his next life, revealing that she hopes to become a tree. Sakaguchi replies that he envisions himself as a lake in front of that very tree.

The highly anticipated collaboration is part of Lisa's debut solo studio album, Alter Ego, released last February under her own agency, LLOUD, and RCA Records. This album marks the Thai rapper and singer's first solo release after departing from YG Entertainment and Interscope Records in 2023.

On Aug. 12, Lisa announced her upcoming song with the acclaimed Japanese actor and model.

"An emotional, beautiful story that will soon be yours," the K-pop star wrote in the caption alongside a black-and-white poster that shows Lisa embracing Sakaguchi.

Lisa is a Thai rapper, singer, dancer, and actress who debuted under YG Entertainment in August 2016. She popularized hit songs such as Rockstar, MONEY, Love to Hate Me, and LALISA, among others.

Aside from being a soloist, she made her acting debut in 2025 in the HBO television series The White Lotus.

Meanwhile, Sakaguchi who debuted in 2010 is known in portaying roles in various TV series including Tokyo Tarareba Musume (2017) and Signal (2018) and films like The 100th Love with You (2017), Color Me True (2018), Brave Father Online: Our Story of Final Fantasy XIV (2019), Masked Ward (2020), to name a few.
