Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto has learned a new skill, and he has no qualms about showing it off.

Late on Oct. 15, the mayor created a Facebook post announcing the beginning of construction of the new Pasig City Hall. He used a cursive font to highlight "The New Pasig City Hall" while keeping the rest of the copy in the customary Facebook sans.

It was a quiet flex of a social media skill that he just recently learned.

Two days prior, in a comment on one of Pasig City Public Information Office's posts, Sotto asked: “Pano niyo ginagawa yung iba ibang font." As of writing, his question has gotten 45,000 laugh reacts and 879 replies. His comment was consistent with his reputation as a "low-tech" mayor, as his constituents regard him with amusement.

The public responded to the popular mayor in a timely manner. Many followers replied to Sotto's question with some tips, others wondered the same thing, and PhilSTAR L!fe put together a Facebook font tutorial

All efforts bore fruit, and Sotto lost no time in flexing his new ability.

As of writing, his post with the cursive font garnered 85,000 reacts, with many followers taking note of his skill.

"Mayor, congrats po sa new font!" wrote Pasig City Public Information Office with a clapping emoji.

"Taray ng cursive font for emphasis," wrote one netizen.

Another one wrote, "yaaas ang yabang niya na, flex na siya ng new font."

"Ung mas binati ka [nila] ng congratulations sa new font style mo kesa sa groundbreaking," wrote another user.
