Shakespeare in the Park returns to Makati with 'Twelfth Night' this February
"Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them." Be ready to hear this iconic line live, as Shakespeare in the Park is returning to Makati this February.
Local theater group CAST PH announced that William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night will be staged on Feb. 7 (5 p.m.) and 8 (5 p.m. and 8 p.m.), at Circuit Park, following its successful earlier run in October 2025.
The show, directed by Nelsito Gomez, is presented as part of Arts Month celebration. It also coincides with Art Fair Philippines, which will be held in Circuit Makati.
The upcoming abridged staging will star Teia Contreras, Cholo Ledesma, Jillian Ita-as, Altair Alonso, Tarek El Tayech, Cathy Azanza-Dy, Dean Daniel Rosen, and Miguel Salaya.
Admission to Twelfth Night will be free, and donations are welcome.
Twelfth Night is a romantic comedy following twins spearated twins Viola and Sebastian. Viola embarks on a new secret life, disguising herself as a page boy named Cesario while working for the Duke Orsino, whom she falls in love with. Orsino, however, sends her to court the Countess Olivia, who falls in love with Viola.
The Shakespearean play is presented by CAST PH, Ayala Land, and Make It Makati.
