Here are the continental queens of Miss World 2025
Miss World 2025 has announced its set of continental queens.
Among them is the Philippines' Krishnah Gravidez, who was named Miss World Asia in the recently concluded Miss World 2025 held in Hyderabad, Telangana on Saturday, May 31.
The country's bet finished in the top 8 and was among the two leading contenders for the continental title, alongside Thailand's Opal Suchata Chuangsri.
While Opal eventually secured both the continental title and the Miss World crown, Gravidez was subsequently hailed Miss World Asia.
"From the very beginning of the 72nd Miss World competition, you showed the world the heart, spirit, and strength of a true Filipina. Your grace, intelligence, and unwavering dedication made us all proud every step of the way. You didn't just compete—you shined. Thank you for raising our flag with honor and making history," Miss World Philippines Organization wrote in a caption.
Meanwhile, Ethiopia's Hasset Dereje, the first runner-up, was crowned Miss World Africa. Second runner-up Maja Klajda bagged Miss World Europe, and third runner-up Martinique Aurélie Joachim earned Miss World Caribbean.
Brazil's Jessica Pedroso was named Miss World Americas, while Australia's Jasmine Stringer was hailed as Miss World Oceania.
Chuangsri won the highly coveted Miss World 2025, making her the first Thai woman to bring home the crown to her country after 72 years.
"I still can't believe it's true. My people in Thailand have been waiting for this. The first Miss World crown in more than 72 years, and I couldn't believe it's my honour to bring it home. I'm very proud, not only of myself but also of my people and my team, because they are the reason I am here," she said in an interview.
