WATCH: Ahtisa Manalo highlights Filipino culture in Miss Universe tourism video
Ahtisa Manalo spotlighted the Philippine gems in her tourism video for the 74th Miss Universe.
The beauty queen took pride in Filipino culture, dancing to the song, Mabuhay, a track specifically produced by Empire Philippines for the Miss Universe Philippines pageant.
Manalo featured the iconic Philippine landmark of Rizal Park and San Pedro Bautista Parish Church in the her hometown in Candelaria, Quezon.
She also showed the many local festivals, food, and the natural attractions.
Fellow beauty queens Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and her batchmates in Miss Universe Philippines, Yllana Marie Aduana and Winwyn Marquez, shared their support in Manalo's Instagram comments section.
"MABUHAAAYYY!!!! PILIPINAS!" Marquez wrote.
"Mabuhaaaay!!" Gray commented.
"Goooosebumps che!!!!" Aduana wrote.
"Eto naaaaa che! MABUHAY," Miss Supranational Philippines 2026 Katrina Llegado also commented.
Manalo was named the new MUPh queen last May. She is vying for the Philippines' fifth Miss Universe crown.
Last Oct. 26, Empire Philippines released a documentary about the beauty queen, highlighting her journey to the Miss Universe crown.
"This is a documentary that we’re putting out of the whole process of how we reach to get the headshot, of how we pick our national costume, how we pick the gowns," Manalo explained.
"So dito, meron kayong backstage access kayo kung paano nangyari everything in my preparation," she added.
The 74th Miss Universe pageant will see Victoria Theilvig of Denmark crowning her successor on Nov. 21.
