Martin Arnaldo studied in the United States (Boston College) and England (Mansfield College, Oxford University). After graduating summa cum laude in philosophy, he started a doctorate program under the novelist Milan Kundera at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales. Today he is a filmmaker by profession, and a historian by avocation: an expert on Juan Luna’s life, including his tumultuous trial.
