#FangirlGigs: Seo In Guk, Filipino fans reunite at sweet 'Heart Cookie' fan meet in Manila
Two years after his first visit to the Philippines, Seo In Guk returned with a sweet treat for his Filipino fans: the "Heart Cookie" fan meet in Manila.
The intimate gathering, presented by L-Squared Productions, brought together fans who have followed the South Korean actor through his dramas, music, and performances for a night of games, heartfelt conversations, and interactive moments.
'Miss ko kayo'
The evening opened with In Guk taking the stage for a performance that immediately drew cheers from the packed SM North EDSA Skydome. Smiling at the crowd, he greeted everyone with “Miss ko kayo,” which melted hearts and set the tone for the evening.
The Reply 1997 star held his first fan meet in the country in 2023 and returned earlier in February when he was named the Philippines' Celebrity Tourism Ambassador for Korea.
"There's something that I like about meeting Filipinos because they are very kind and hospitable to me. I can feel your passion in the flesh, so I am always happy every time," he said in Korean, which was translated through an interpreter.
In his Sept. 20 fan meet, the Filipino crowd got a closer look at his personality. When asked about his ideal date, he used his past trip to Cebu as an example, saying that he'd love to go to the beach.
He also shared details about his upcoming drama Twelve, speaking with enthusiasm about his new character and what fans can look forward to.
The audience learned more about the actor in the "Heart to Heart" segment, where they voted on impressions best suited for him, and "Heart Talk," where fans got to express their love for him.
A sweet performance, fun games
Like in his first fan meet, In Guk serenaded fans with a heartfelt rendition of Yeng Constantino's Ikaw. The audience sang along as the actor poured his heart into the song.

That wasn't all, as he followed it up with performances of Distant Fate (Doom At Your Service OST) and My Love that kept the energy alive inside the Skydome.
To keep the ball rolling, In Guk participated in interactive games like "Heart Test: Guess the Drawing," where the Korean star gamely sketched as the audience guessed his drawings. Fans also had the chance to join him on stage for the Heart Relay, a segment full of playful interaction and lighthearted fun.
As the program drew to a close, In Guk posed for fans and expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming love he received. The audience responded with cheers and heartfelt messages, hopeful for his return.
