#FangirlGigs: Han So Hee, Filo Sosamos create 'unforgettable' memories at Manila fan meet
Months of excitement culminated in a night that surpassed all expectations for Han So Hee’s Filipino fans during her first fan meeting in Manila.
The actress held her first fan meeting world tour titled “Xohee Loved Ones in Manila” on Sept. 13 at Cove Manila, Okada. At the intimate event presented by L Squared Productions, Filo Sosamos got a rare up-close and personal experience with the Gyeongseong Creature star.
Even before the program began, fans were already feeling the love—leaving post-it notes, writing heartfelt messages, and taking part in fan polls that set the tone for an evening full of warmth and connection.
The event kicked off with a burst of excitement as So Hee appeared from backstage, glowing under the lights while Filipino Sosamos erupted in cheers and chanting her name in unison.
Before the fan meeting, she shared that she attended the Toronto International Film Festival in Canada to promote her latest film, Project Y, where she stars alongside Jeon Jong Seo.
The 31-year-old actress explained that she chose “Xohee Loved Ones” as the title of her first fan meeting world tour because her fans are her treasures.
“It’s like a return gift to my fans who give unconditional and endless love to me, so for me, fans are really treasures in my life,” So Hee said in Korean, through an interpreter.

In one part of the night, So Hee got to see the results of the fan polls conducted ahead of the fan meeting.
Fans asked which of her characters would make the best travel companion: Yu Nabi from Nevertheless and Yoon Ji-woo from My Name came out on top. But for So Hee, her pick was Lee Eunsoo, the lyricist from Soundtrack.
Another poll asked fans which character they’d like to see So Hee try next, with "psychopath" and "doctor" emerging as the top picks—roles she described as “contrasting.” When asked, So Hee said she’d like to take on the role of a psychopath. “I think I’d do really well," she said.
Although it wasn’t her first time in the Philippines, it was So Hee’s first time meeting her fans in Manila. She hadn’t tried any local food yet, but said bulalo was on top of her list, noting it looked similar to the Korean dish gomtang.
From So Hee to PH Sosamos
Following the games and fan polls, Han So Hee shared a personal short film she made and funded herself—a special gift to her fans.
“The reason why this came to my mind is that I wanted to let you know how I think about you. There are two symbols in the video: the color purple and the mannequin,” So Hee explained before stepping backstage to prepare for the next segment.
But the surprises weren’t over yet. So Hee returned to the stage, captivating the crowd with a sultry rendition of Jennie’s Seoul City that left the entire venue breathless.
She then followed it up with aespa’s Whiplash, which had fans at the edge of their seats.
The interactive games with the fans continued and kept the energy high, with everyone in the venue joining in from their seats, filling the room with laughter and excitement.
Lucky fans were even invited onstage to play alongside Han So Hee, making the experience all the more memorable.
One of the most unforgettable moments came when a fan asked for a selfie—and without hesitation, So Hee stepped down from the stage all the way to the back of the crowd to make it happen.
Another fan asked for a hug, and So Hee gave it warmly, creating a touching moment that moved everyone.

‘Unforgettable day’
As the evening wound down, fans turned the tables and surprised So Hee with a heartfelt tribute video.
Seeing the heartfelt messages, she wiped away tears, moved by the love from a crowd she was meeting for the first time.
“Thank you for saying I’m not alone,” she said after the special video. “Today will really be an unforgettable day for me, for my entire life.”
So Hee promised to return to the Philippines soon before leaving the stage, but the bond she forged that night will linger far longer.
“Till the next day we see each other again, stay healthy and always be happy.”
The event was not your typical fan meet. It brought So Hee and her fans closer in a way that felt deeply personal—and even a casual enjoyer was completely won over by her charm that night.
