Dashboard Confessional, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Faber Drive to headline Playback Music Festival 2026

Millennials, three iconic alternative punk rock acts are heading to the Philippines next year. So, grab your black eyeliner, band tees, Docs, and digicams—no one is going to judge your inner emo kid. 

The Playback Punk Rock & Emo Music Festival is making a return in 2026, headlined by Dashboard Confessional, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and Faber Drive.

"It’s time to scream your heart out like it’s the 2000s again,” the festival promoter said.

The event will feature a show at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Manila on May 8, 2026, followed by a second night at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino in Cebu on May 9, 2026.

Manila fans can purchase their tickets via SM Tickets, while those heading to the Cebu show can get theirs through ticketmelon.com starting Oct. 19 at 11 a.m. 

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus were just in the country in September 2024 as part of their Asia Tour, known for crowd favorites like Face Down and Your Guardian Angel.

Similarly, Dashboard Confessional—the group behind anthems like Stolen, Vindicated, and Hands Down—were last in Manila in 2023 for the Wanderland Music and Arts Festival.

Meanwhile, the Canadian pop-punk band Faber Drive, known for hits such as Tongue Tied and When I’m With You, will finally be making their highly anticipated Philippine debut.
