Entrepreneur, wife, and their business partner missing since July—PAOCC
An entrepreneur, his wife, and their business partner have been missing for about two months, a Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission official said on Sept. 3.
The Philippine STAR reported that according to PAOCC executive director Gilbert Cruz, Henry Angelo Pantollana, 39, his wife Margie, 38, and Richard Cadiz, 30, were last seen in a sport utility vehicle on July 6.
Investigation showed that the Pantollanas, who live in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig, met with a man known only as Jeff at a condominium in Pasig. Their transaction involved stem cell and beauty products, as well as a branded wristwatch, worth P20 million.
The condo's closed-circuit television footage showed the couple boarding the mentioned SUV, allegedly after meeting with Jeff.
Cruz said they were supposed to have another business appointment with a man identified only as Jon, but they never returned home.
A relative of the couple said they reached out to Jeff, but got no response.
Hours later, the couple's children also reached out to them, according to ABS-CBN News. Someone answered, but didn't speak and was off-camera.
A CCTV footage obtained by the PAOCC, meanwhile, showed the couple’s vehicle passing through Aguinaldo Highway in Dasmariñas City in Cavite as a white van was tailing them, per The STAR.
Cruz said that from July 15 to 21, there were suspicious withdrawals from Henry's ATM account amounting to millions of pesos.
The Pantollana couple's family clarified that they didn't receive ransom demands, though they discovered there were millions worth of purchases in Quezon City, Bulacan, and Cavite using their credit card, ABS-CBN News reported.
The PAOCC is working with the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, Taguig police station, and other police units looking into the case.
The Pantollana family is also giving a P300,000 reward to anyone with information regarding the couple's whereabouts.
