Pulp Fiction and The Mask star Peter Greene has passed away.

The actor, who's played various villain roles, was found dead in his Manhattan apartment on Dec. 12, according to his manager. The cause of his passing was not disclosed.

Per the New York Times, neighbors heard Christmas music blasting from Greene's apartment for several days and called for a wellness check when it didn't stop.

Cops ruled out foul play, according to a New York Post report.

Born on Oct. 8, 1965, Greene was known for his roles as Zed in Pulp Fiction, mobster Dorian in The Mask, and Redfoot the Fence in The Usual Suspects. His latest role was in the 2025 film Beggarman, and he will appear posthumously in the 2026 movie Clika.

"Nobody played a bad guy better than Peter," the actor's manager Gregg Edwards told NBC News in a phone interview. "But he also had, you know, a gentle side that most people never saw, and a heart as big as gold."

Edwards shared with the NY Post that he spoke with Green earlier this week and said the actor was scheduled to undergo surgery to remove a tumor near his lung.

"He sounded okay... It was just a totally normal conversation. He was a little nervous about the operation going in, but he said it wasn't super serious."

"He was talking about that and hoping that I was going to be okay and wishing me well as I was wishing him well. We're good friends. I love the guy. We were friends for over a decade."

Before his death, Greene was working on a project to raise awareness about the deaths caused by the Trump administration's dismantling of USAID, according to Edwards.

"He was a good friend who could give you the shirt off his back. He was loved and will be missed.

He was also reportedly working on Mascots with Mickey Rourke.

Greene is survived by a brother and a sister.
