From the UK to the Philippines!

British designer Anya Hindmarch's the Universal Bag has landed in the Philippines... at The Marketplace, to be exact.

"For the first time, the Universal Bag is launching in the Philippines. We’re proud to welcome The Marketplace Fresh as our latest Universal Bag partner, and the first retailer to launch both the large and mini sizes," it said on Hindmarch's website.

The reusable bag, which was launched in 2021, is the designer's "most ambitious sustainability project to date." It is made of 100% recycled and 100% recyclable materials, "designed to be reused again and again."

According to the brand, the Universal Bag project is a global collaboration spanning international supermarkets and grocery stores, including Coles in Australia, FairPrice Finest in Singapore, City'Super in Hong Kong, Seijo Ishii in Japan, Waitrose in the United Kingdom, and now, The Marketplace.

The mini bag sells for P699, while the regular size is priced at P899 each. It will be available in 38 stores nationwide from this December.

Hurry, though, because these are produced in limited quantities.
