LOOK: Ahtisa Manalo shines in sheer white gown at the 74th Miss Universe final competition

Ahtisa Manalo of the Philippines delivered a breathtaking performance in the 74th Miss Universe final competition, wearing a creation by veteran designer Val Taguba.

Manalo chose a form-fitting gown for the Nov. 21 Evening Gown round, featuring a see-through fabric that was covered in intricate beaded details and sparkling crystals. These embellishments were strategically placed to define a structured corset and bodice, highlighting her form.

Taguba added drama to the creation using a light, sheer fabric that flowed around her arms.

The gown was the chosen look for Manalo as she secured a coveted spot in the Top 5 of the global pageant that is currently happening in Bangkok, Thailand. 

At the event, Miss Universe President Raul Rocha Cantu announced that the 75th Miss Universe will be held in Puerto Rico next year. It aims to achieve a record-breaking number of delegates for the 2026 pageant.
