Ever wondered what it's like to make a film, or want to enhance your skills with hands-on training from the country's most renowned filmmakers? Sinag Maynila has announced an expanded lineup of mentors for this year's film masterclass.
Joining the roster of mentors at the Sinag Maynila Masterclass 2025 are renowned directors Carlitos Siguion-Reyna and Arvin Belarmino, and distinguished cinematographer Javier Abola.
They will be sharing their expertise alongside previously announced mentors: director Zig Dulay, cinematographer Odie Flores, production designer Ben Padero, sound designer Mike Idioma, composer Teresa Barrozo, and actress Ruby Ruiz.
Further elevating the program's prestige, Sinag Maynila co-founder and internationally acclaimed director Brillante Mendoza will serve as the program's overall mentor.
The six-day masterclass will be held at Solar Century Tower in Makati City on the weekends of July 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, and 27.
Emerging filmmakers will gain hands-on training and insights across the key disciplines of filmmaking, including directing, scriptwriting, acting, editing, production design, sound production, music composition, and cinematography.

Sinag Maynila is an independent film festival in the Philippines co-founded by Mendoza. It aims to support local filmmakers and promote Filipino stories on a global stage. It not only "inspires but also educates and enlightens Filipino movie audiences."
