No ATM card, no problem: BPI clients can now withdraw cash in select grocery stores for free

Here's some good news: You can now withdraw cash for free in select grocery stores!
BusinessWorld reported that BPI has partnered with Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc. for the new service, which is available in stores of participating brands under RRHI’s portfolio via a generated barcode. These include The Marketplace, Shopwise, Robinsons Supermarket, Robinsons Easymart, and No Brand. Robinsons Department Store and Toys “R” Us will soon be available as well.
To avail of it, generate a barcode using your BPI app by following these steps:
- Log in to your BPI app.
- Tap More > Transactions > Partner Store Transactions.
- Tap "Withdraw" and choose a deposit account to withdraw from.
- Input the withdrawal amount and agree to the Terms and Conditions.
Present your BPI app barcode at the cashier.
Note that there is a limit of five barcodes daily, with minimum and maximum withdrawal amounts of P100 and P10,000 per code.
