Are you one of the thousands of people who will be part of anti-corruption protests on Sunday, Sept. 21? Don't forget to bring umbrellas and raincoats as you may experience rainy weather, according to PAGASA.

In their Weekly Weather Outlook, the state weather bureau stated that "cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms will be experienced over the western sections of southern luzon and visayas due to the southwest monsoon" until Sunday.

Rains may also take place over Bicol region and Quezon due to tropical cyclone Nando.

The rest of the country may meanwhile expect fair weather conditions, but isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms may still take place.

In their Tropical Cyclone Bulletin issued early Sept. 20, PAGASA detailed that gale-force gusts may be experienced in Metro Manila, as well as Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, Davao Occidental, and Davao Oriental.

Nando is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility in the morning of Sept. 23.

"Considering these developments, the public and disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned are advised to take all necessary measures to protect life and property," PAGASA noted.

"Persons living in areas identified to be highly or very highly susceptible to these hazards are advised to follow evacuation and other instructions from local officials," they added.

Two major anti-corruption demonstrations will take place in Metro Manila on Sept. 21: one in Luneta Park and another at the EDSA People Power Monument.
