LIST: Establishments offering relief from Super Typhoon Uwan

With Super Typhoon Uwan inching its way across Luzon, multiple establishments are offering affected individuals help by way of free food, temporary shelter, and free charging stations. 

Brews n’ Bites

Not only will this café keep its doors open to anyone needing shelter from the super typhoon, it will also throw in a cup of free hot coffee while you charge your devices. 

Brews n' Bites is located along Main Road 3023 Marilao, Bulacan.

Café Rajah

While dine-in guests will get free soup, the café is encouraging its customers to just stay home, order in, and not worry about booking for delivery. Café Rajah will take care of delivering favorites to your doorstep. 

This cafe is located at 102 Rajah Soliman Street, Marikina City.

 

Clara’s Buffet and Events

From 9 p.m. today until Nov. 10, Clara’s Buffet and Events will welcome anyone needing temporary shelter. They will also be preparing light meals for those who stay for those who come in.

Dunkin’

Select stores of Dunkin’ will remain open for anyone who needs a dry, warm place during the super typhoon. 

Guevarra’s by Chef Laudico

Starting today, Nov. 9, “until the situation eases,” the restaurant will be serving free bowls of their crowd favorite Chicken Arroz Caldo to anyone who visits the restaurant.

Kamalig Garden Café

Staying open until 9 p.m. today, Kamalig Garden Café is inviting anyone who needs shelter from the rain and wind to come in. There will be free coffee to warm you up.

Mama Lou’s Italian Kitchen

Anyone who visits any Mama Lou’s store today, Nov. 9, will be served free bowls of Zuppa di Maccheroni. If conditions remain the same tomorrow, “it will still be free, as long as our stores are open and safe for our staff to operate,” Mama Lou’s told PhilSTAR L!fe.

Super Typhoon Uwan is moving at 25 km/h with maximum sustained winds of 185 km/h near the center. It is headed northwest until it exits the Philippine area of responsibility on Nov. 11.
