Boracay, Palawan, Siargao among top islands in Condé Nast Traveler's 2025 reader's choice awards
Three Philippine islands made it to the list of Condé Nast Traveler's top islands for 2025.
The reader-ranked list, published on Oct. 7, included islands in the United States, Europe, the Carribean and the Atlantic, North and South America, Australia and the South Pacific, Africa, and Asia.
Boracay took the fourth spot in the Asia rankings with a score of 90.54, trailing behind Phú Quoc in Vietnam, Langkawi in Malaysia, and Koh Samiu in Thailand.
Palawan followed the "Island of White Beaches," with a score of 90.23.
Rounding out the Philippines was Siargao in seventh place with a 85.49.
Hilton Head Island, S.C in the United States earned the most points in the ranking with a 96.39, followed Kiawah Island, S.C with 95.52. Vietnam's Phú Quoc followed in third, while the Bermuda came in fourth.
In an August article, the publication raved about Boracay's White Beach and Puka Shell Beach, which were praised for their seaside nightlife scene and intimate vibe, respectively.
Palawan, meanwhile, was in the spotlight for its Entalula beach and its snorkeling wonders in El Nido, as well as Amanpulo for its luxurious exclusive resort.
Siargao, the surfing capital of the Philippines, was lauded for the "powerful, barreling, fast-breaking waves" in Cloud 9.
In the Readers' Choice Awards for best resorts in the world for 2025, Amanpulo bagged the fifth spot for the Asia category.
For its reader's choice awards, Condé Nast Traveler surveyed "hundreds of thousands" of respondents who submitted ratings from April 1 to June 30, 2025.
