Are you ready for more Culinary Class Wars?

Following the success of Season 2, Netflix has renewed the Korean culinary competition Culinary Class Wars for a third season. The new installment will feature a major format shift, moving from individual competitors to restaurant-based teams.

To qualify, four chefs from the same restaurant or chain must apply together. The show will no longer accept individual applications or teams made up of acquaintances who do not work at the same establishment.

Culinary Class Wars production director Kim Eun Ji thanked the viewers for giving the show "so much love."

“Thanks to the viewers all over the world who gave Season 2 so much love, it became possible for us to produce a third season, and I’m sincerely grateful. We will do our utmost to produce a show that lives up to viewers’ expectations for Culinary Class Wars with a new and improved format and an even more entertaining Season 3,” Kim said.

Since its first season's premiere in 2024, Culinary Class Wars became the first Korean unscripted title to dominate the Global Top 10 TV (Non-English) list for three consecutive weeks.

Culinary Class Wars followed a cookery contest in which contestants competed throughout various rounds. Their dishes were judged by Korea’s top restaurateur Paik Jong-won and Chef Anh Sung-jae of Mosu Seoul, the country's sole Michelin three-star restaurant chef.
