Social media favorite Mama Lulu is in the Philippines for a two-week vacation. It has been 18 years since the beloved TikTok mom has been in the country.
Last week, her son Oliver—whom Mama Lulu jokingly describes as "the gay and eedjot cameraman"—posted a video where he and his sister Apple surprised Mama Lulu with a trip to her homeland.
They originally told her they were taking a short trip to Pennsylvania to visit another of Mama Lulu's children Donna. But then Oliver, who was behind the camera, asked his mother to pack for two weeks, not two days.

"For the past couple of months, me and Apple, with the help of Jeng, [have been] planning a trip to the Philippines for you," Oliver said in the video.
Providing a backstory, Oliver wrote that after his father passed away, his mother didn't have a reason to return to the Philippines. But this time, all five of Mama Lulu's children will be traveling to Manila with their mother.
Social media users shared the family's excitement on social media—among them, celebrities and other content creators.
"I miss my mama. Welcome home po," actress Angelica Panganiban wrote.
"This is so incredible! I almost started crying with mama!" drag queen Ada Vox chimed in. "Love y’all so much, and I hope y’all have the most beautiful and fulfilling time!"
Tiktok star Julian Sewell said, "You DESERVE it, Mama."
Filipino-Canadian YouTuber Mikey Bustos added, "I wanna meet you, Tita!!!"
Mama Lulu's reaction was felt by her followers, too.
Actor Don Darryl Rivera wrote on IG, "Though all the shenanigans, it’s clear how much you all love each other. Thank you for sharing your family with us!!!"
A social media user commented, "I'm also crying here in MALAYSIA."
Another one wrote, "You will find your way back home talaga kahit gaano ka pa kasaya, ka-contented, and ka-stable overseas, at kahit wala kanang rason para bumalik... babalik at babalik ka talaga sa lupang sinilangan. Mabuhay mama Lulu!"

Living in the US with her children, Mama Lulu has been an Internet favorite for her cooking content and classic Pinoy mom energy since Oliver started featuring her in his videos. Their TikTok page has 17.6 million followers, while their Instagram page has 2.6 million followers.
