Pinoys, your 'Wicked' cover could win you a chance to meet the cast and star in a music video—here's how
Everyone knows Filipinos have incredible singing talent, so why not share it with the world?
Wicked and Universal Pictures Philippines are giving you the chance to shine and show everyone what Pinoy talent is all about through the "Awiting Wicked: For Good" contest.
Fans are invited to perform their own rendition of the powerful song For Good from the upcoming Wicked musical film and win exciting prizes, including a meet-and-greet with the cast of Wicked: For Good.
"Thank you for being some of Wicked's biggest fans in the world, Philippines," director Jon M. Chu said in a video.
"We've seen so many of your gorgeous renditions and are moved by your talent. So as we count down to Wicked: For Good, which comes to your cinemas on Nov. 19, we want to continue celebrating your love for the music of Wicked," he continued.
Chu said they are looking for three pairs from the Philippines who can channel their inner Elphaba and Glinda by singing their own rendition of For Good.
The winners will be selected by Chu and lead cast members Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, who star as Elphaba and Glinda in the two-part film adaptation of the Broadway hit.
What's in store for them? The duos will record and star in the For Good music video, win an all expenses paid trip to Singapore, and meet the stars of the film!

How to join
Simply team up with a partner. The contest is open to all Filipino citizens 18 years and older who are currently living in the Philippines.
Participants may join in two ways: an online audition or a mall audition.
Online audition:
- View the Awaiting Wicked: For Good Ad on TikTok.
- Sign up through the TikTok Instant Form, which will pop up once the user clicks the ad.
- Go back to the Universal Page and click on Pinned Instrumental Video
- Duet with Instrumental Video pinned to Universal Pictures PH Page and post with the required hashtags.
Mall audition:
- Visit select SM Mall venues from Sept. 19 to Oct. 5 and go to the official Awiting Wicked For Good Audition Stations to record and post a video of yourself and your best friend singing the select portion of the song.
- The audition stations will be available at SM Mall of Asia, SM Lanang, SM City Iloilo, and SM Seaside Cebu.
- Duos must record their duet onsite and upload it to TikTok following the same instructions as above.
- Fill out the TikTok sign-up form and sign the media release consent onsite.
The contest will run from Sept. 19 to Oct. 5, and the winners will be announced on Oct. 13 via Universal Pictures PH's official social media accounts. For more information, visit this page.
