There's an update on the ongoing investigation into the death of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez that allegedly involved singer d4vd.

On Sept. 8, Hernandez’s decomposing body was discovered wrapped in plastic and stashed in the front trunk of a Tesla registered to the rapper, whose legal name is David Anthony Burke. According to Los Angeles Times, the vehicle was parked close to a home on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood Hills before it was towed to a nearby impound lot.

The media outlet reported that detectives have executed a search warrant at the said house and recovered various items. Per law enforcement sources who weren’t authorized to share details of the case with the public, they found and seized electronics and computers.

According to ABC News, the same sources shared that d4vd had been staying in the rental property prior to his Withered World Tour kickoff on July 30.

Hernandez’s death is being investigated by robbery-homicide detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department, which has not named a suspect or person of interest in the case. NBC News reported that on Sept. 17, a spokesperson for the Romantic Homicide singer shared that the latter is “fully cooperating with the authorities.”

He is in the middle of his world tour, and scheduled to take it to Europe in October, but has cancelled the rest of his US tour dates and, apparently, has not given new schedules for them.
