Can exes be friends?

Years after their breakup, Karylle opened up about whether it's possible for her and her ex-boyfriend Dingdong Dantes to be friends again.

"I don't know if 'friends' is the word," she said in an interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda that aired on Wednesday, Oct. 1. "I would imagine, being people in the same industry, we could support each other. Like, I see that he supports our movie. I did my best to kind of support their own movies, so I think supporting each other, maybe."

"The friendship, I don't think is in the cards anymore," she admitted.

The two reunited last June on It's Showtime, where Karylle serves as a regular host. Dingdong made a guest appearance on the noontime show to promote Only We Know, his movie with Charo Santos-Concio.

"It was a beautiful moment," she said, recalling their recent meeting. "You see, all is well, you know?"

Karylle and Dingdong called it quits in 2008 after a three-year relationship.

Karylle is now married to singer Yael Yuzon. Dingdong, meanwhile, is married to Marian Rivera, with whom he shares two kids.
