Here's why Sarah Lahbati was at Paris Fashion Week
Sarah Lahbati shared why she decided to attend this year's Paris Fashion Week as she opened up about some of her realizations on her trip.
In a series of posts on Instagram, the actress wowed her 8.3 million followers with photos and videos of her strutting down Parisian streets—and speaking fluent French—during Paris Fashion Week 2025. Her signature understated but ultra chic style was front and center as she attended shows as a correspondent for Vogue Philippines.
Last year, Lahbati flew to Paris as a birthday gift to herself (she turned 31 on Oct. 9, 2024), not realizing that her trip would coincide with that year's Paris Fashion Week.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram channel, the local star shared her thoughts about her first foray into the most celebrated annual fashion event in Paris. “As I sit here back home reflecting on the whirlwind of the past few days, I can’t help but marvel at how far I’ve come since last year," she wrote.
“It’s a bit surreal to think back to a time when I felt lost, my spirit weighed down and the light seemed distant... Yet, here I am, embracing my dreams in a city that feels like a second home," she continued. “This journey began as a simple birthday treat for myself—a chance to celebrate in a place I adore.”
For Paris Fashion Week 2025, Lahbati revealed why she decided to fly there again.
She wrote, "As I try to find the right words, I think back to last year—September and October 2024—when I decided to put myself out there in Paris. I did it for one reason: to make little Sarah happy. She's always loved fashion, always been curious, always wanted to learn from other creators."
She went on to wonder what she was doing in Paris this time.
"Last year changed me—it woke something up that had always been there but finally caught fire. Now on my second Paris Fashion Week, I found myself asking again at 4 a.m...why am I doing this?"
"I'm here to learn, to be inspired, to keep pushing myself into something I'm still figuring out. Being here feels like running barefoot by the ocean: free, unfiltered, and full of life."
Lahbati's series of videos showed her attending the Mugler Spring/Summer 2026 show in an underground car park, posing for photos on the street, with an equally stylish Anne Curtis, shopping at Lacoste Paris, and having fun with friends around the sites of Paris.
"It's hectic, sure, but the rush, the conversations, the little moments—they keep that spark alive," she wrote. "I don't have it all figured out yet. But that's okay. I know I will."
Paris Fashion Week is running from Sept. 29 to Oct. 7. Aside from Lahbati and Curtis, other celebrities who were spotted at the event were Michelle Dee, Gabbi Garcia, Pia Wurtzbach, and Max Collins.
