Gisele Bündchen ties the knot with Jiu-jitsu coach Joaquim Valente

Congratulations are in order for Gisele Bündchen and Jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente!

The couple wed in an intimate ceremony at their Surfside, Florida, home on Dec. 3, according to records obtained by People.

This marks a new chapter for Bündchen, who was previously married to NFL star Tom Brady for 13 years before their divorce was finalized in October 2022.

Rumors first began to swirl in November 2022, when she and Valente were spotted with her children in the coastal Costa Rican province of Puntarenas.

They began dating in June 2023. Though the model initially denied the rumors, a source told People in February 2024 that their bond has since evolved into a romance.

Another source noted that Valente “was a huge comfort" for Bündchen, who was going through a divorce.

By October 2024, news broke that Bündchen was expecting her first child with Valente.

A source told People that the couple was "happy for this new chapter" and focused on "creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family."

They officially welcomed their baby boy early this year, joining Bündchen’s two children with Brady: 15-year-old Benjamin Rein and 12-year-old Vivian Lake.
