Dianne Medina mourns death of father: 'Life will never be the same again'
Dianne Medina is mourning the loss of her father after he passed away at the age of 71.
The actress shared the tragic news on her social media accounts, detailing that her father Prisco Tito "Antoy" Verzosa Medina had died on September 5.
"We ask for your continued prayers for our family during this time of grief, and for the eternal repose of the soul of our beloved dad," she added.
In a separate post on Instagram, Medina lamented how her "life will never be the same again" now that both of her parents have passed away. Her mom, Maria Josefa Medina, had died in September 2011.
"I really really miss you Mommy and Daddy. I love you both so much!" she wrote.
Medina's husband, Rodjun Cruz, also penned a heartwarming tribute to his father-in-law.
"Mahal na mahal po kita Daddy Antoy. Maraming salamat sa pagiging tatay sa akin. Napakabait, solid, at cool mo. The best father in-law ka po talaga," the actor wrote.
"Sobrang mamimiss kita. Hindi ko makakalimutan lahat ng kwentuhan, memories, at bonding natin. Madami po akong aral na natutunan sa’yo. Respeto at saludo. Idol ka naming lahat," he added.
He went on to promise that he will take good care of Medina and their two kids, Joaquin and Isabella.
"Forever kang nasa puso at isipan namin! Enjoy ka sa heaven with Mommy Vicky. Iyakap niyo na rin po ako kay Mama and Papa," he wrote.
Many of Medina's celebrity friends took the time to offer their deepest condolences for her loss, including Rita Daniela, Jackie Lou Blanco, Sunshine Cruz, and more.
