Miles Teller surprises wife with remake of her wedding dress that got burnt in LA fires

Published Dec 28, 2025 12:34 pm

Miles Teller had a special gift for his wife, Kaileigh Teller, this Christmas.

In January, the couple's home in Los Angeles was razed in the California wildfires, as reported by People Magazine. Keleigh's wedding dress was also burnt in the fire.

For Christmas, the Eternity star surprised her with a remake of her gown. In a TikTok of her reaction, Keleigh was seen opening a big red box while wearing pajamas and a Santa Claus hat.

"Is this my wedding dress?" she asked Miles, who was recording the video. "Yeah," he responded as she pulled out a garment bag.

"Oh my God," Keleigh said before she opened the bag and brought out the white gown. She's seen tearing up as she flipped the garment around.

"Miles had my wedding dress that burned in the fire remade," she wrote in the caption. So happy (crying emoji). Merry Christmas everyone!"

On her Instagram stories, she shared a photo of Miles holding up the dress. "Sweetest husband," she captioned.

Miles and Keleigh exchanged I do's in September 2019 in Maui, Hawaii, after their engagement in 2017. According to Vogue, Keleigh worked with Monique Lhuiller to create her wedding gown.

"We started with a pretty simple dress that I redesigned a bit to get the perfect timeless feel," she told the magazine in 2019.

The two first met at an after-party for rock duo The Black Keys in 2013.

"Keleigh had caught my eye early in the night, and we talked. I didn’t think it went well, but after a few more attempts, I got her to dance with me, and a week later, we went on a date. After we met, I knew she was the one," Miles previously said.

According to a study by the School of Public Health and the University of Helsinki, the catastrophic wildfire resulted in over 30 deaths and forced over 180,000 people to evacuate their homes.
