Another proud Pinoy moment!

Actor Daniel Padilla received the coveted Outstanding Asian Star Award at the recent Seoul International Drama Awards.

The honor, which is given to top celebrities from Asian countries, is determined through a global fan voting process.

Padilla was recognized for his performance as Andres Malvar in the action-drama series Incognito. His character, a former scout ranger who transitions into a covert operative, joins a private military company.

In his acceptance speech, the 30-year-old actor expressed gratitude to those who contributed to his success. He acknowledged his Incognito co-stars and team, as well as Star Creatives, Star Magic, and ABS-CBN.

The actor became deeply emotional as he gave tribute to his mother, Karla Estrada.

“I just want to thank my friends and my family for their endless support and unconditional love. Mama, I made it. And to all my fans and supporters, thank you for your continued support and unwavering love, kayo ang dahilan kung bakit ako nandito. Maraming salamat,” he stated.

Meanwhile, Estrada also took to Instagram to congratulate her son's win.

"[C]ongratulations Anak for receiving the Outstanding Asian Star award! I cannot express enough how proud I am of you. All your hard work, sleepless nights, and dedication have truly paid off. You are not only talented, but also determined and passionate in everything you do. As your mother, my heart is overflowing with joy seeing you achieve your dreams," she wrote.

"Always remember, this is just the beginning of many more successes ahead. I will always be here, your number one supporter, cheering for you every step of the way. I love you Anak," Estrada continued.

Padilla accepted the honor alongside other celebrated Asian stars, including Korean actors Kim Seon-ho and Jisoo, Chinese actor Yu Bai, Thai actress Film Rachanun Mahawan, Malaysian actress Anna Jobling, and Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi.

ABS-CBN Studios' Saving Grace, starring Julia Montes, has also earned nominations at the same event.

The Dreamscape Entertainment-produced drama series has been nominated for Best Series and Best Screenwriter (Danica Domingo).
