Brooklyn Beckham reportedly tells parents David and Victoria to only contact him via lawyers amid feud
Brooklyn Beckham reportedly sent his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, a legal notice to only contact him via his lawyers amid their rumored feud.
According to a report by The Sun, Brooklyn had told his estranged parents he would only talk to them via his lawyers and instructed them not to tag him on social media. It also reported that their eldest blocked David and Victoria on social media because Victoria allegedly violated the "desist" letter by liking a post on Instagram.
Meanwhile, an exclusive report by People said David and Victoria have "repeatedly" tried to make amends with Brooklyn and his wife, actress Nicola Peltz.
"David loves his kids. They are his everything," an insider said.
The source also shared that the former soccer star had always invited Brooklyn and Nicola to family events both in private and public.
As of this writing, Brooklyn and Nicola do not follow David and Victoria, as well as his younger siblings Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, on Instagram.
The rift between the two parties allegedly started in 2022 when Victoria did not make Nicola's wedding dress.
"When Nicola and Brooklyn [Beckham] got engaged, Victoria told Nicola that she'd love to make her wedding dress, and Nicola said it would be her honor, that she would love to wear one of her originals," a source previously shared to People.
The source added Victoria ultimately didn’t prioritize the dress and allegedly told Peltz’s mother, not Nicola, that she wouldn’t make it.
"Nicola was painted as a brat for not wearing Victoria Beckham at the wedding," the source notes, highlighting that Nicola had worn Victoria's designs on numerous occasions. "She'd gone to a ton of Victoria Beckham fashion shows and events in Victoria's clothing. She even wore Victoria Beckham to her Lola movie premiere."
In 2022, Nicola dispelled the rumors, saying, "I was going to [wear Victoria Beckham] and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realized that her atelier couldn't do it, so then I had to pick another dress. She didn't say you can't wear it; I didn't say I didn't want to wear it. That's where it started, and then they ran with that," she told Variety at the time.
Brooklyn and Nicola tied the knot in 2022 in a Palm Beach wedding, with the latter wearing a Valentino Haute Couture.
The last time they were seen with the Beckhams was at Christmas 2024. Since then, they skipped David's 50th birthday in May 2025 and last year's Christmas with the family.
