Former 'Pinoy Big Brother' housemate Joj Agpangan is now engaged
Former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Joj Agpangan is now engaged to her non-showbiz boyfriend.
The actress turned to Instagram to share the news along with pictures of her now-fiancé Danny down on one knee in Austin, Texas.
"He put a ring on it! From Tita Joj to Wifey Joj," she wrote in the caption.
The photos also showed the couple sharing a sweet embrace and kisses. Joj is also seen getting emotional after Danny popped the question.
"Forever starts now with you, Danny. What a journey it has been—everything happened in God's perfect timing. I feel so blessed to have a man who loves so deeply and fully. My soulmate, I love you so much!" she said.
In a YouTube vlog, Joj shared a glimpse of their relationship.
"I really don't post about my significant other. He's very lowkey. That's what I love about him... He's a great guy. He's the best, and I really can't wait to spend my whole life with him," the actress said.
In the video, she showed off her ring, which had a nod to her twin sister Jai.
"This ring has two stones beside the big diamond. These two little cute diamonds symbolize me and Jai... Jai is a big part of my life."
"He chose the right ring for me."
Danny popped the question out of nowhere, according to Joj.
"I had no clue at all that he was going to propose. I was wearing sneakers and he's so madaya [because] he was wearing a hoodie and I didn't he [had] like an inner polo inside," she shared, adding that her boyfriend told her that they were just going to an event, where they walked to the park to watch the sunset.
When the couple told Jai about their engagement over video call, the twin was heard squealing while on a motorcycle taxi. "Ang ganda," Jai said.
Joj continued to say that she'll stay in the US in the meantime. "Transitioning here in the US is really a big step for me, but I'm excited."
Joj and Jai rose to fame when they joined Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition 4 in 2012.
