Chavit Singson on being linked to Jillian Ward, Yen Santos: 'Marites lang yan'
Businessman Chavit Singson shut down rumors that he has romantic ties with actresses Jillian Ward and Yen Santos.
In an interview with the media, Singson was asked for his reaction on blind items linking him to Ward, to which he said, "Marites lang 'yun."
"Naririnig ko nga. Marami nang nali-link sa akin, puro Marites," he added.
When it came to Santos, however, the former Ilocos Sur governor appeared to steer away from the topic.
"Next question," Singson said after he was pressed if it was true that he had a relationship with the artist.
When asked, "Bakit po hindi niyo maamin na nagkaroon kayo ng relasyon?" to which he repeated, "Next question."
"Sinabi ko na kanina, you can ask any question except babae. Takot ako diyan eh," he quipped.
While Ward has yet to address the rumors, Singson and Santos previously sat down together to put an end to speculations about their supposed love child.
According to the actress, Singson is a "good family friend" and is close to her parents.
"Kaya lagi tayo na-i-issue. Meron pa nga daw tayong anak, 'di ba," she said, laughing, as a smiling Singson is just looking at her.
"Malaki na daw 'yung anak natin, si Yan Yan," she added, before facing the camera. "So, anak ba natin 'yun?"
"Ewan ko sa 'yo," he said, as Santos burst into laughter and Singson giggled.
"Guys, hindi po namin 'yun anak. Kapatid ko 'yun," she said, placing her hands on Singson's arm, "and ninong siya no'n."
When the local star asked Singson whether he had a relationship with a celebrity, he said, "Wala pa."
