Olympic athlete Hergie Bacyadan and his wife Lady Denily Digo are opening a new chapter as they're expecting their first child through in vitro fertilization

In a TikTok post on Nov. 24, Lady described the moment as “the best wedding anniversary gift."

The soon-to-be mom shared a glimpse into their journey, saying that they went through "losses, waiting, doubts, and pain."

"Lahat pala may purpose. God was writing a story we couldn’t see yet. A story where love wins, where healing comes, and where we finally get the family we’ve always prayed for,” Lady added.

@ladydenily Our baby is the best wedding anniversary gift we could ever receive. 🥹 Everything we went through… the losses, the waiting, the doubts, the pain—lahat pala may purpose. God was writing a story we couldn’t see yet. A story where love wins, where healing comes, and where we finally get the family we’ve always prayed for. This little one growing inside me is our miracle. Our reminder that faith works. Our promise that the hardest seasons can turn into the sweetest blessings. Happy anniversary to us, bebi. We’re stepping into a new chapter—now as parents. And I can’t wait for the life we’re building together. @Hergie Bacyadan 🌈 #lgbtcouple #ivfjourney #ivfsuccess ♬ Heaven Knows - Skate Avenue PH ~ Forevermore, This I Promise You (Medley) - Rock Version - Thirdzy

In a 2024 video, Lady shared that she adopted a child with her ex. After their breakup, the ex tried to sue her for falsification of public documents and kidnapping.

"I had no choice but to give up the child. It was my most painful day," she said, adding that her ex didn't want to co-parent with her.

Lady met Hergie, a trans man, when she accidentally joined him on his TikTok livestream. They made plans to meet up and hit it off. After dating for around a year, the boxer popped the question, and they tied the knot in a hotel room while on a Zoom call with an officiant from Utah in November 2022.

"You gave me the happiest life," Lady said in her Nov. 24 TikTok, referring to Hergie. "I forgot the pain they caused me. They treated me like trash, but you treated me like a princess[—]loved, valued, and chosen every day."

"I may have lost a child before... but now I'm having my own baby—OUR baby," she wrote over a photo of her and the Olympic athlete with three positive pregnancy tests.

“Salamat palagi nanay[,] I love you," Hergie wrote in the comments.

The couple first shared that they were expecting on Sept. 20.

Hergie made his Olympic debut during the 2024 Paris Olympics.
