LOOK: Conan O'Brien is in Manila for travel series shoot
Conan O’Brien is in the Philippines to film for the upcoming third season of his travel series Conan O’Brien Must Go.
The comedian and TV host shared photos on social media showing his interactions with Filipino fans in Bonifacio Global City.
“Mabuhay, Philippines! Just landed in Manila to shoot #ConanOBrienMustGo and I’ve already met so many amazing people,” he wrote on an Instagram post.
Several Filipino celebrities expressed their excitement over O'Brien's arrival to the country.
"Crying vomiting," Saab Magalona commented.
"Holy moly! Where's Chlanskey!?!" added Drew Arellano.
Known for hosting Late Night with Conan O’Brien and The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien, the comedian gained international recognition for his wit and distinctive comedic style.
His travel series on HBO Max, Conan O’Brien Must Go, follows him visiting fans he previously spoke with virtually through his podcast, Conan O’Brien Needs a Fan.
The series premiered in 2024, with the first season featuring trips to Norway, Argentina, Thailand, and Ireland. The second season, released in May 2025, saw the former late-night talk show host traveling to Spain, New Zealand, and Austria.
Now renewed for a third season, the show brings O’Brien to the Philippines.
Conan O’Brien Must Go has earned two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Writing for a Nonfiction Program in 2024 and Outstanding Hosted Nonfiction Series or Special in 2025.
O'Brien is set to return as the host of the Oscars in 2026.
In May, he also announced that he joined the cast of Toy Story 5 to voice a new character called Smarty Pants.
